Howden launches marine insurance operations in Japan

The Howden brokerage group has announced the launch of its marine insurance operations in Japan, to be led by Koji Aragane.

This move forms part of the broker’s broader expansion strategy across Asia.

In July 2025, Howden entered the Japanese market through its reinsurance subsidiary, Howden Re Japan.
