Higher travel insurance premiums in the UAE

Travel insurance premiums are expected to increase by about 25% in the UAE.

Such rising is justified by the addition of the epidemic risk cover to the usual policy and the growth in demands expected after the end of lockdown.

The economic losses linked to the coronavirus pandemic left the insurers with no choice but to increase the rates in order to compensate the charges.
