High road unsafety in Turkey

According to the general directorate of safety, Turkey has recorded more than four million traffic accidents during the last four years. These accidents claimed the lives of 21 000 people and injured 674 000 others.

During the first nine months of 2017, 307 000 accidents were reported in the country, with a toll of 2 700 deaths and 232 000 injured people.
