HERO and St Paul Travelers in talks for a joint venture

The group Hero has started talks with the American St Paul Travellers with a view to penetrate the Indian insurance market in terms of life and property business. The project for the creation of a joint venture is linked to the reform of the regulation pertaining to the level of foreign capital participation. In case an agreement is concluded, the Hero group shall be holding 74% stakes of the future entity.
