Health insurance packages for dependents of employees

Insurance companies of Dubai should launch, by the end of the year, health insurance packages for dependents of employees in the Emirates.

According to Dr. Haidar Saeed Al Yousuf, Director of Health Funding, these packages will provide "access to general physicians, consultations with specialists, laboratory services, emergency services and maternity care."

The basic package, designed for employees whose monthly wage is less than 1 090 USD, will be marketed for an annual premium between 136 and 190 USD.
