Hannover Re will cede Praetorian to QBE Insurance

The reinsurer Hannover Re has announced it will soon cede its American subsidiary Praetorian to the Australian group QBE Insurance for the sum of 800 million USD. Praetorian is reporting a total gross premium volume of 1.4 billion USD.
