Guy Carpenter: Laurent Rousseau, new CEO of EMEA & Global Capital Solutions

Laurent Rousseau joins Guy Carpenter as CEO of EMEA and Global Capital Solutions, a position newly created by the American reinsurance brokerage company. The appointment will take effect on 4 September 2023.

Based in London, Laurent Rousseau will oversee Guy Carpenter's activities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India, as well as those of the capital markets unit GC Securities and Global Risk Solutions.

Prior to this appointment, L. Rousseau spent 13 years with the French SCOR group, where he most recently held the position of CEO from June 2021 until January 2023.
