Good performances for CICA Re in 2014

The compagnie commune africaine de réassurance  (CICA Re) published its financial statements as of 31/12/2014. The Burkinabe reinsurer posted a 25.6% growth in its result. The latter went from 2 114 322 574 FCFA ( 4 435 849 USD) in 2013 to 2 655 869 662 FCFA ( 4 921 326 USD) in 2014. During the same year, the company's turnover amounted to 30 270 273 584 FCFA (56 090 817 USD), an increase of 21.08% compared to the previous year.

With a capital of 20 billion FCFA (37 million USD), CICA Re is operating in 12 African countries and is planning to expand its reinsurance business in North and East Africa.
