GIG CEO Khaled Saoud Al Hasan retires

Khaled Saoud Al Hasan, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Insurance Group (GIG), is retiring after nearly 50 years of service with the company. Mr. Al Hasan will continue to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group and GIG Kuwait.

Mr. Al Hasan joined GIG in 1978. Under his leadership, the Group has evolved from a local Kuwaiti insurer into a leading insurance group in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. Today, GIG operates in 12 markets and serves a customer base exceeding 3.5 million policyholders.
