GIC Re gets listed

On August 7, 2017, the State reinsurer General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) filed an Initial Public Offering (IPO) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India.

If this transaction materializes, it will enable the Indian state to raise more than 1 billion USD on the financial market.
