Generali: results for the first three quarters of 2025 and new organizational structure

GeneraliGenerali reported a turnover of 73.078 billion EUR (85.7 billion USD) at end-September 2025, a 3.3% increase compared with 70.721 billion EUR (78.9 billion USD) recorded a year earlier.

Life premiums totaled 46.244 billion EUR (54.2 billion USD), while the non-life (P&C) segment generated 26.834 billion EUR (31.5 billion USD).

The Italian group’s net profit reached 3.283 billion EUR (3.8 billion USD), up 14% from 2.88 billion EUR (3.2 billion USD) for the same period in 2024.

The company’s shareholders’ equity stood at 30.694 billion EUR (36 billion USD), with a solvency ratio of 214%.

On the eve of publishing its results, Generali announced the appointment of Giulio Terzariol as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, a newly created position.

Aged 53, Mr. Terzariol will oversee the Group’s insurance operations and supervise Banca Generali.

Prior to this appointment, he had served as Insurance CEO since January 2024, a role that will be discontinued once he assumes his new responsibilities.

This organizational change is part of Generali’s strategic plan, “Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence.”
