The Italian insurer has undertaken steps to reintegrate its life operations, Generali Vita and to merge its two subsidiaries, Ina and Assitalia under the name Ina Assitalia. This restructuring is likely to enable Generali to achieve savings up to 100 million EUR (126.2 million USD).
