Generali and Qatar Insurance Bank are about to launch a joint venture

The Italian insurer Generali and Qatar Insurance Bank (QIB) are prospecting the establishment of a takaful insurance company. A preliminary agreement has been signed which provides for the use of Generali's technical resources and QIB's know how and distribution capacities. The new company will be inspired from Beema's experience, the takaful insurance company of which QIB is shareholder.
