Gen Re sets up office at DIFC

General Reinsurance (Gen Re) is establishing an office at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

This is the second Berkshire Hathaway company to expand its presence in the region after Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance.

Through this new structure, Gen Re aims to provide life and health reinsurance services in the MENA region, including the United Arab Emirates.
