Fraud affecting health insurance cards

The use of fraudulent health insurance cards has triggered severe losses to insurers. The phenomenon has reached such proportions that insurance companies have attempted to set up a digital recognition system. BUPA is the first insurer to have adopted this principle while the other stakeholders on the market are expected to follow. Only children below the age of four are exempted from using these new cards.
