Faid Laziz, new President of the National Insurance Council

Faid Laziz has been appointed Minister of Finance and consequently President of the National Insurance Council (CNA) by Presidential decree of 16 March 2023. He will be taking over from Brahim Djamel Kessali.

F. Laziz has occupied several positions in public finance, including Director General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance, Deputy Director of Budgetary Studies and Laws on Budgetary Regulation at the Budget Directorate-General, and Financial Controller in several ministries.

Created on 25 January 1995 and chaired by the Minister of Finance, the CNA is the public authorities' advisory body on insurance, regulation and market development.
