Everest Reinsurance sets up operations in India

Everest Reinsurance, the reinsurance arm of the Everest Group, has received approval from the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) to open an office in India.

The new office will be located in GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It will operate as part of Everest Reinsurance’s Asia Pacific business, led by Kevin Bogardus.

This move aligns with the Bermuda-based group’s long-term strategy to diversify its geographic footprint, deepen its commitment to local clients, and broaden its reinsurance offerings in the region.
