Everest Reinsurance appoints Brent Hoffman

Brent Hoffman has been appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Claims Officer and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Everest Reinsurance, the reinsurance division of Everest Re Group. He will report to Jim Williamson, COO and manager of the Bermuda-based group's reinsurance business. The appointment is effective at the end of July 2022.

B. Hoffman holds a Ph.D. in law from Dickinson School of Law. He started his career in 2002 with the American insurer Hartford, where he held several management positions over 12 years. In 2014, B. Hoffman joined AXA XL, which he left seven years later.
