Establishment of the first Cambodian life company

Cambodian authorities are establishing a new insurance company named Cambodian Life Insurance Co. Four foreign partners (PT Asuransi, Indonesia ; Asia Insurance, Hong Kong; Bangkok Life Assurance and Bangkok Insurance Public, Thailand) are involved in this project alongside the Cambodian state insurer which detains 51% of the capital.

Cambodian Life operates nationwide. So far, only six non-life insurers and one reinsurer are present on the market.
