Establishment of the DIFC Insurance Association, Dubai

The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC ) Insurance Association has officially been established.
According to Bassel Hindawi, one of the founding members of the association, there is a major need to build a structure capable of representing the interests of different players and ensuring the development of the market.

The continued growth in the number of actors operating within the DIFC calls for the existence of such an entity.

The association will have two different categories of members: the insurance and reinsurance companies operating in the DIFC and the associate members of service providers such as actuaries, experts, consultants...
