Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is penalizing some insured motorists

In association with insurance companies, RTA is penalizing individuals having underwritten a motor insurance policy without proceeding to the prior re-registration of their vehicle. About 80 000 vehicles are circulating in Dubai with expired documents. Owners of such vehicles are exposed to penalties calculated per month of offence.
