Doha Insurance will double its capital

The non-life company Doha Insurance plans to raise nearly a capital of 120 million USD on the stock market. In case the general meeting of shareholders approves this plan in next 17 February vote, the insurers will be able to double its current Qatari capital.

The transaction will strengthen the solvency of Doha Insurance which will then be able to bid for mega projects in the Kingdom and in the Gulf region.
