Dispute between the Lloyd’s and the brokers Aon and Benfield

Lloyd's intends to lodge a lawsuit against the brokers Aon and Benfield. The sum of the claim amounts to 464 million EUR (557.6 million USD). The dispute regards an insurance policy cover worth 722 million USD that both brokers have negotiated for Lloyd's in 1999 with a group of six reinsurers among which Swiss Re and Hannover Re.
