Daman markets a new travel insurance policy

National Health Insurance Company (Daman), in collaboration with the ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation, is marketing a new travel insurance product.

Referred to as "Musafer", the contract offers comprehensive medical assistance to Emirati citizens while traveling abroad.

Medical care, hospitalization expenses and repatriation of the body in case of death are particularly covered by this insurance scheme. Coverage is capped at 500 000 AED (135 155 USD) per person.
