Damaan Islamic Insurance Company: IPO

Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) has approved the listing of its subsidiary Damaan Islamic Insurance Company (Beema). The latter is owned up to 25% by QIC.

QIC's Board of Directors has also granted approval for the conversion of the Islamic insurance entity into a public limited company listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange.

The transaction is pending the approval of the other shareholders.
