The Canadian insurance company Promutuel Assurance has witnessed a hacking attempt. Since 12 December 2020, the cyber-attack has resulted in the malfunction of the company's IT system.

An investigation is being conducted by experts to assess the damage caused and the type of data stolen by the cybercriminals.
