Creation of the Turkic World Insurance Union

Azerbaijan and Turkish insurers' associations have signed an agreement to establish the Turkic World Insurance Union.

The member countries of the new union include Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.

The objective of this initiative is to strengthen the insurance sectors in the Turkish speaking states and create a unified insurance pool for the members of the union.
