Creation of a crisis management committee in the UAE

The Emirati supervisory authority is to create an insurance committee in charge of crisis management and emergency situations.

This action came in support of the government’s efforts in its fight against Coronavirus pandemic. In response to crises, the committee will be collaborating with governmental institutions such as Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Health.

Since the Coronavirus outbreak, the insurance supervisory authority has set two support plans for the insurance industry.
