Covid-19: Emirati insurers pay 350 million AED by the end of June 2020

According to the data published in the annual report on the activity of the Emirati insurance market, local stakeholders have disbursed 350 million AED (95.27 million USD) for Covid-19 related claims as at 30 June 2020.

The insurance companies are implementing a post-covid-19 economic recovery plan in order to boost the growth of the industry.
