Covid-19 coverage: partnership between Scoot and AXA Insurance

As of 1 December 2020, the Singapore subsidiary of the AXA Group, AXA Insurance has introduced a new travel insurance policy. "AXA SmartTraveller", the policy includes Covid-19 coverage.

This initiative came after a partnership established between AXA Insurance and the airline company Scoot, which aims to offer Covid-19 coverage free of charge to its Singaporean passengers.

The coverage covers medical and hospitalization expenses, quarantine costs, repatriation costs and trip cancellations or postponements due to a pandemic.

Customers may choose between two formulas that offer the same benefits but with different coverage limits.
