Continental Re forecasts a doubling of premiums resulting from the public building and works sector (BTP) by 2020

SAccording to Lawrence Nazare, non life executive director of Continental Re, the reinsurer ‘s underwritings in the public building and works sector (BTP) in Africa are expected to generate 80 million USD of premiums by 2020, that is the double of current receipts.

Note that, investments in the public building and works sector (BTP) in Africa represented 325 billion USD in 2014, an increase of 46% compared to 2013.
