Construction professionals make recourse to the government

Following the collapse of a six-story building in Maryland, Lagos, the construction professionals and members of the Building Collapse Prevention Group (BCPG) made a protest march asking the leaders of Lagos state to control buildings ensuring that compulsory fire insurance for buildings has been underwritten by all concerned parties. This committee has also requested that technical inspections be conducted to ensure compliance with construction standards.
