Life insurance in Africa was the topic of the conference organized by the African Insurance Organization (AIO) in Accra from November 11 to 14, 2009. AIO includes insurance companies from 46 African countries. The association's head office is in Douala (Cameroon). AIO's next summit will take place in Nigeria in 2010.
