Following the irregularities picked up during the recapitalisation process of insurance companies, the authorities have ended the duties of Okechukwu Emmanuel Chukwulozie, commissioner at NAICOM, and brought in Alhaji Mohammed Bagudu Husaini. The suspension came into force as of March 19, 2007.
