COFACE settles in South Africa

The first French credit insurer COFACE is getting established in South Africa. The takeover of Santam of South African Underwriting Agency enables the French insurer to set up its first credit insurance company in Africa.
South African Underwriting Agency reported a turnover of 60 million rands (9.76 million USD) in 2003.
