Clement Cheung reappointed CEO of Hong Kong Insurance Authority

The Hong Kong government announced on 14 August 2023 that Clement Cheung has been reappointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Insurance Authority (IA). C. Cheung has been reappointed for a three-year term (2023-2026).

Cheung was first appointed CEO of the IA in 2018. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) and Chairman of the Asian Forum of Insurance Regulators (AFIR).
