CICA Re’s ratings confirmed by AM Best

AM Best has confirmed the financial soundness and long-term credit bb+ rating of the Compagnie Commune de Réassurance des Etats Membres de la Conférence Interafricaine des Marchés d’Assurances (CICA Re). The outlooks associated with these ratings are stable.

These ratings reflect CICA Re’s portfolio profile and its good operational performance. The company is well-positioned on the niche markets, benefiting from the legal cession of the CIMA zone insurers. The turnover posted in 2015 amounted to 55.288 million USD after having been through an average annual evolution of 14.3% between 2011 and 2015.
