Chedid and GML in joint-venture in the Indian Ocean

The Lebanese reinsurance broker Chedid and Mauritian conglomerate GML reached an agreement according to which a new direct insurance intermediary called GML-Chedid & Associates East Africa came into being.

Headquartered in Mauritius where skilled labor is available, the new entity will target the market of small and medium enterprises. It shall benefit from the expertise of both groups, taking advantage of the enabling economic situation in East Africa and in areas adjacent to the Indian Ocean.
