Capitec Life granted a license in South Africa

Capitec Life, a subsidiary wholly owned by Capitec Bank, has been granted approval by the Prudential Authority of the South African Reserve Bank to conduct life insurance operations in the country.

The local bank has been providing life and funeral insurance products through two captive insurance agreements since 2017.
