Cambodian insurance market in 2020

Regardless of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cambodian insurance market recorded a 7.8% increase in its turnover set at 264.9 million USD in 2020. Despite this growth, the market penetration rate remains below 1%.

The market is dominated by the motor and health classes of business which together account for 35.6% of the total premium income.
