Call for the establishment of new takaful reinsurers

Saleh Bin Rashid Al Dhahiry, chairman of the executive committee of the insurance federation of the Gulf countries and of the Emirates Insurance Association appealed to reinsurers in the region, inciting them to engage in islamic reinsurance due to the increasing weight of this activity in the area. Today 44.5% of insurers in the Gulf countries are specialized in takaful business.
