Brexit: reviewing the London market's regulatory framework

The London Market Group (LMG) is calling on the UK government, authorities and insurance market stakeholders to use Brexit to improve the industry's competitive position and attract foreign investment.

To that end, the LMG issued a plan on 7 June 2021 addressing changes to the insurance regulatory framework and highlighting new opportunities in the UK.

The LMG is an organization of over 350 underwriters and brokers in the London insurance market. It is supported by the International Underwriting Association of London (IUA), Lloyd's of London, the Lloyd's Market Association (LMA) and the London & International Insurance Brokers' Association (LIIBA).
