A bill governing the insurance sector

At the end of a meeting between the Minister of Economy and Commerce and the Association des Compagnies d'Assurances Libanaises (ACAL), Roger Nasnas, ACAL's Chairman, has announced the imminent finalisation of a bill governing the sector.

The legislation shall provide for the creation of a supervisory committee as well as for the organisation of the relationship between insurers and insured.
