The insurance activity of Berkshire Hathaway has made alone in 2013, a profit of 4.99 billion USD, ie an increase of 9.67% compared to 2012 (4.55 billion USD). The total net profit of the conglomerate, all sectors combined stood at 19.5 billion USD.
