Berkshire Hathaway enters Cattolica’s capital

American group Berkshire Hathaway has acquired 9.047% of the capital of Italian insurer Cattolica, a stake previously owned by Banca Popolare di Vicenza.

The transaction amounts to 115.89 million EUR (136 million USD).
