AXA presents its new management team

The AXA Group is reshuffling its management. This reorganization is part of the new strategic plan that will be implemented in the first quarter of 2024.

The new team consists of:

• Patrick Cohen: CEO European Markets and Health
• Guillaume Borie: CEO of of AXA France
• Hassan El-Shabrawishi: CEO International Markets (Latin America, Africa, Middle East, Turkey, India and Southeast Asia)
• Gordon Watson: Non-Executive Chairman, Asia
• Nancy Bewlay: Chief Underwriting Officer
• Françoise Gilles: Chief Risk Officer
• Anu Venkataraman: Chief Strategy Officer in addition to her current position as Group Head of Investor Relations
• Renaud Guided: CEO of AXA XL Reinsurance
• George Stansfield, Group Deputy CEO and General Secretary. overseeing AXA Japan and AXA China and Hong Kong

All of these appointments are effective 1 July 2023.
