AXA Insurance Gulf interested in the Takaful insurance market

Subsidiary of the French group, AXA Insurance Gulf is planning to get positioned soon on the Takaful insurance business whose turnover it estimated to reach 10 billion USD by 2015.

AXA has ten offices in the Middle East where it employs 380 staff members. AXA counts on underwriting a total premium volume of 190 million AED (51.7 million USD) in the Gulf region.
