AXA has launched a capital increase to its 100 000 staff members

Under the denomination of “Shareplan 2008”, the French insurer has launched a capital increase to the attention of its 100 000 staff members scattered around forty countries. The underwriting, taking place from September 24 to October 9, 2008, should be around the sum of 100 million EUR (137 million USD). Before this move, the employees detained 5.1% of the company's capital.
