AXA Group announces four new promotions

The AXA Group has announced several key promotions within its senior leadership team.

Guillaume Borie, currently CEO of AXA France, has been appointed Global Head of Finance, Strategy, Underwriting, Risk and Technology for the Group.

Mathieu Godart, previously CEO of AXA P&C & Partnerships at AXA France, has been appointed CEO of AXA France and member of the Executive Committee.

These two newly promoted executives will report to Thomas Buberl, CEO of the French group.

Karima Silvent, currently Group Chief Human Resources Officer, has been promoted to Deputy General Secretary.

Matthieu Caillat has been named Chief Technology and AI Officer, succeeding Alexander Vollert. Prior to this appointment, Caillat served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Committee member at AXA XL.

These appointments are subject to regulatory approval and will take effect on 1 December 2025.
