Aviva announces talks on the acquisition of the American AmerUs

The British number one insurer has announced that talks are underway for the takeover of the American AmerUs whose value is estimated at 1.91 billion EUR (2.42 billion USD). This move, which is likely to trigger a capital increase, will strengthen Aviva which stands as one of the main operator in savings on the American market.
